This gelding as you will see is 100% saddlebred and anyone could tell that he is. This guy is 20ish years young and stands about 16.1 hands. when I went into the pen to get him he was not the happiest camper in the world and he was more than happy to let me know about. Once I caught him he was very friendly and easy to be around. This poor guy must have had some rough handing around his head as he is hard to bridle. With patience he should get better. He did remember carrots and was looking for more and thought he should really have a home that gives him lots of treats.

Jessie liked this horse and said he was very smooth and was nice and easy to ride. You can see in the pictures he was safe enough feeling that she dropped her reins. His horse did do three gaits but needed a small whack start to canter. He did however know what cantering was all about. While he is not as collected in the canter as I would like to see if the world was perfect he is VERY smooth in his canter. This nice guy scored high on every section (except ears) and EVERYONE LOVED HIM.

Let the NAMING BEGIN!

Sticking to the sailboat theme - Beneteau - a true yacht, top-of-the-line, elegant, finely made, best of everything, and the company is based in France. The boat can be raced or can sail to the Caribbean in style.

Regal is cute Or maybe we could name him after a king/emperor? Charlemagne, Richard, Louis, Philip, Frederic, Theoderic ...

Beneteau is very pretty, name. His ears are cute in the first picture.

I got through all of the 5 new ones, and I am worn out. What a nice bunch of horses and in good flesh it seems. I am so glad that they are back in safe keeping. Here is what I would whisper into each of their ears as I gave them a little nuzzle: "Relax, eat some good meals, meet some new horsie friends, do a little work and thrive. You angels all deserve it."

He looks about identical to my Terry. Same color, same ears, facial markings, eye shape, heavier solid build, but no doubt a saddlebred!

Boy, is he Debonaire!!! That's my name for him......

CCS, Look under my horse, Lordy I'm Lucky, he has 6 full siblings. A few older (Terry is only 13) some are still showing, but there may be a match on the others. It's really something how close they look.

This boy is so cute. I think he will make a good lesson horse with a little work. It seems like he has had a rough go of it recently but acts like he knows it will be ok now. I can see him looking sharp in Academy classes.
