Ok here goes... my evaluation on this one. This gelding is one of the horses that we got last week. We have been SUPER busy so no pictures yet, will get them as soon as we can. Jessie tried him out on Friday and liked him but we had people here looking at treasures so I was busy with them and didn't really get much of a look at him. This weekend we had a show at the farm so today was my first opportunity to spend any time with him. I must say I was VERY pleasantly surprised by this horse.
Joe is a big ( 16.3) liver chestnut. He is quite thin. He does not appear to have been on the road as he does not have road shoes or that tell tale white strip in his mane.
The evaluation that Nealia and Jessie filled out notes that he was nervous on the ties but he seems to have gotten over that. Today he was a perfect gentleman. Doug reported that he was easy to catch in the pasture. He was good to tack up and stood well for mounting.
The ride was a real treat. Joe is very well behaved and sensible. He WTCs with no issues. This one could go into a lesson program with a couple weeks work. I really like this horse. He is easy easy easy to ride and kind kind kind! When he gains weight he will be pretty. He is upheaded and typy looking. Lesson/Academy horse extraordinaire.
We will most likely not get pictures up until after Syracuse. If I were looking for a WTC lesson horse I would not wait for the pics.
I LOVE THIS HORSE and I have very good taste in horses.

Jonna, I think he will be suitable for a beginner/intermediate rider.

OK, how old am I -- I didn't get the name until I saw Paddysgirl's post!!! Jonas brothers . . . got it . . .

I just spent 20 minutes looking for the pics I took but can't find them. I'll have to do it again.
Joe is really cute and should make a lesson horse with some work. I have a Dr Appt tomorrow and won't be at the barn. I have one for my mom Friday and it will probably keep me away again so hopefully this weekend...sorry

How old is this guy? Suitable for trails or ring work only?

coggins has him at 15. I would think he would be fine on trails but need to try him.

Joe Jonas arrived safely in Ga. yesterday. He was ridden today for a few minutes and done WONDERFUL. Crystal has been so busy she hasn't had a chance to get on. His barn name is Hershey. He and Maggie are good friends.
