Diesel is a 16 year old gelding. I talked to a former owner who was thrilled to hear he was ok. She had been trying to find him and hadn't been able to. He was used as a breeding stallion before he was sold. They are looking for pictures of him but the recently sold the farm and the pics are in storage.

He is broke to walk, trot and canter. He was taken to one show but I don't believe he was shown. He is cute but green.

He is cute, I see lots of potential. Would he make a nice carriage horse too? Like the way his chrome is mapped out so nicely in either direction. The first photo is my favorite. Thanks SBR!

Diesel is such an eye catching horse, what a lovely Saddlebred. Gotta love that amazing blaze across his face and the 4 socks.

I'm new on here but I just wanted to say some things about Diesel. I was working/boarding at the barn that he was at before he was sold. He is a beautiful horse. Even as a stallion he was good to work around. I'm glad to see that he's been rescued and I hope someone will give him a good home!

I also worked/boarded at the barn where Diesel was originally from. Aside from his amazing chrome (how great does that look in pictures!!!?!?!) Diesel had a wonderful disposition, even as a stallion, and is a real pleaser. No horse deserves to undergo what Diesel recently went through, so help him out and give him a wonderful new home!!! He won't let you down!

I really appreciate the people from Diesel's life taking the time to register here and take the time to tell us about this guy! THANK YOU Cakes and Fizz! Just the act of doing that says a LOT about this guy. Pretty special to get two people to do that for him indeed. I hope you two stick around and chat! We love our newbies!

I own one of Diesel's sons...Power Trip LGF... If he is anything like his son he will be a loving and hard working horse. Tripp is the biggest lover he wants to be your Big lap horse lol. He is very hard working and willing to try anything to please his "people". I hope Diesel will be the same for someone. I hope he gets the love and respect he deserves!

Diesel was gelded about 6 years ago I think. Pat knows for sure. In case anyone wants to know, his halter has slipped down his neck and it kind of looks like a weird training devise........ but it is not, it is just a halter. We leave the halters on until we get to know the horses so we have some sort of safety net for Anne. I do not know why but on some horses the halters just slip down the neck and it does not even matter what halter it is or how it is adjusted it slips. I would guess it is how the horse is made.

Funny that this halter seemed to have set off such a fuss on trot. When I was riding him I noticed that it was slipping back and pushed it back up several times but it just would not stay put. Never imagined it would be a big deal LOL. Promise we will get pics without the halter once he has fattened up a bit and is ready for a follow up photo shoot ( unless of course some smart person snaps up this cutie first).

It is funny you mention the halter, I did not see the big fuss about it on trot but Angelina's halter does the same thing. I don't ride in the halter but I have many pictures of her where her halter is halfway down her neck, even with her Fennell's halter. I have had some horse people mention how I need to be careful and that the halter is too big. It isn't though and I am always careful. Anyway, even the top of her caveson slips down when I ride and I have to keep pushing it back up under the bridle.

This guy is really cute and it says a lot about him that so many newcomers have signed up to post about him. Pretty cool!

I know at some time I will have people discussing the fact that I listed this horse by name. I want to make it clear that I talked to the original owner before posting it and knew they were ok with it and that people would be posting about this horse.

This is not a change in policy just a special exception to it.

Am I the only one who didn't know that Diesel was his name? I thought you named him Diesel because you probably drive a diesel truck.

He is too cute for words.

No Gus, I didn't know either until I went to ASHA and looked up Power Trip to try to figure out his real name. So, maybe we are the only two!
